Most couples come to the experience of pregnancy and birth with wonderful expectations of happiness and joy.? Often when expectations are thrown into disarray, families are left with many challenging emotions and a sense of unknowing how to move forward.? Pregnancy and birth trauma can take on many different guises and is unique to an individual or family.? These feelings and the need to heal are often dismissed by others, particularly when a healthy, happy baby has arrived.?
