My favourite kids books
I've only got time to link in at the moment:

The Staring Owl
The Staring Owl - Apple Green Books

Leaf - Stephen Michael King
www.stephenmichaelking.com/books.html

Giraffe's can't dance

Wombat goes walkabout

Can you catch a mermaid?

Grandads prayers for the earth

The whales' song

The Tin Forest

The Giving Tree

Vegetable Glue

I'll be back with more books when I come back from holidays.

Maybe others would like to link in their favorites too... (not necessarily your kids favorites but if you'd like to specify theirs too feel free to).

My DD keeps asking for Leaf. Have had to borrow that from the library many times. It was the book I read to her minutes before DS was born.

I love the interactive nature of this one and the simple message that we are all human beings and that our differences make us wonderful.

Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley : Aaron Blabey : 9781590785966
A lovely book about true friendship.

Anything by Lynley Dodd (creator of Hairy MacLary and Slinki Malinki). Such great rhythms and she doesn't dumb it down by only using short simple words.

I also love Winnie the Pooh. And I think Beatrix Potter's art work is fantastic but I don't love the stories nearly as much.

Wow! You guys are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Our favorite is beestar. It's not a book, but an educational website. The worksheets are full of of all real life world problems, challenging stuff to help kids thinking. DD loves it!
