I read it a little while ago, so it’s not completely fresh in my mind – sorry!
BUT I loved it too. I think I said this before, but it didn’t read like a ‘parenting’ book to me, more of a self-help book for women who happen to be mothers and therefore facing specific challenges in their lives. I think that’s part of what I enjoyed about it, it was about improving my relationship with my children by focusing on ME – what a refreshing change!
It’s a book I think I’ll buy a some point because on the bad days, I want to refer back to it and remember to be an observer of my emotions rather than investing in them.
I just picked up Buddhism for Mothers of Young Children at the library, and I’m keen to see what else she has to add..
It’s definitely sparked my interest in Buddhism and I’d like to keep learning about this tradition (although I’ve done nothing towards this yet!)
