Some notes & tips...

Congratulations on considering a gorgeous modern cloth nappy start up pack .  We hope that this pack sets you on the path for successfully using cloth nappies for your baby, and helping to create a greener future for all Australian babies.

We have included a few ‘user guide’ notes below, but if you have any queries with using any of the products, please don’t hesitate to contact the store for assistance.

Imse Vimse:

New born fitted contour nappies, with organic waterproof covers.

The terry contours are fastened with a snap closure, then add your waterproof imse vimse cover.

Covers only need to be washed every 2^nd or 3^rd nappy change (unless soiled), you can hang the cover to air after a change and put back on the next change.

(The contour terries should fit tiil about 3-4 mths, after that the medium sized nappies will fit until toilet training if you wish to buy the next size up).  The Imse Vimse white covers are sized –newborn, small, medium & large.  We stock all sizes.  You can also use your one size fits all GroVia nappy covers over the Imse Vimse contour terry nappies. We will provide 2 x newborn sized covers with your initial purchase.

GroVia:

The GroVia covers have a ‘snap in’ nappy (called a soaker) included in the pack.  There are also extra snap in replaceable, washable nappies in the pack.  These snap in nappies can be replaced with the ‘stick in’ biodegradable disposable bio-soaker.  The snap in nappies can be used in the Imse Vimse (or other brand) covers, but they simply will sit, rather than snapped in. 

Further, the disposable insert can be used in any nappy system – even inside underpants when toilet training!

The GrovVia  Stay Dry 2pack boosters are for extra absorbency, excellent for night nappies, heavy wetters or when needed extra protection i.e. on a long car trip.

We've also included the Brand New Grovia Newborn all in one nappy - this is a beautiful, easy to use all in one that will have a really great fit for newborn bubs.  You should be able to use this nappy until around the 3 month mark, then there are 'one size fits all' all in one nappies available.

Accessories:

Natures Child nappy wipes are perfect for nappy changes instead of disposable, just 1 per change, and fold and wipe, fold and wipe.  Wash with your nappies.

Liners – Fold into thirds and place on top of the nappy or booster to ‘catch the solids’ in nappy changes.  Soiled liners can be flushed straight down the toilet.

Wetbag – keep in the car or your nappy bag to contain soiled nappies and soiled clothing/wraps.  Contains all odours and wetness.  Once bub has grown out of their nappying stage you can keep using this product happily – we find it’s great for containing wet swimmers after a trip to the beach or pool.
