These lovely, unique building blocks are specially cut from hazel-nut and willow tree branches.  The original bark is still intact however the surfaces and edges have been sanded smooth.   The natural fragrance of the wood and bark has not been tampered with, they are not oiled or varnished.

The narrow pieces in the set can measure up to 18cm, disc-shaped pieces are generally 2cm thick and up to 7cm in diameter. There are also a variety of barrel-shaped, "Y"-shaped and angular pieces.
